Our Practice can advise on the preparation and submission of planning applications. When we are responsible for the submission of an application we aim to negotiate with all interested parties to ensure that our clients receive favorable recommendations at an early stage. Where applications are refused, the practice is widely experienced in appeal work by Written Representation, Informal Hearings, and Public Inquiry. We are able to assemble a professional team to tackle all planning appeals and when required the firm is equipped to provide advocacy at informal hearings and Inquiries.

Our team monitors the production of development and implementation of national government and local planning authority policy. We are therefore well placed to provide guidance on the progress of development plans and advise clients on when representations should be made to such plans. We are happy to prepare, submit and negotiate within the Local Development Framework and make representations and provide expert witnesses to appear at Examinations in Public and Local Inquires. Such representations are crucial in influencing the future use of land and therefore the early involvement of ECO Partnership in these matters will ensure the best planning promotion of the clients land interests. Delivery of complex projects relies upon an ability to steer a path through the planning maze.

Our in-house planning team, made up of chartered town planners, is able to work with and advise clients and designers at all stages of the project. We can advise on maximising the development potential of sites coupled with an informed view of what planning permission might be achieved and by when. We fully embrace the importance of good urban design and our multi-disciplinary team is able to integrate planning, research, management and design skills to respond quickly and effectively to the planning situation on each site.
